Further to the announcement by President Trump on a ‘temporary ban’ on immigration to USA for 60 days.

– It is clarified that this immigration ban will only affect people seeking Green Cards / Permanent Residence for a limited period.

The release of the Executive Order is likely to provide more details, however based upon the President’s comments, E-2, L-1 and H-1B visas are not ‘likely’ to be affected.

The US govt. has stated that the ‘immigration ban’ is to protect American jobs related to Covid-19. Investor visas EB-5, E-2, L-1 work by creating more jobs for USA nationals through their investment.
